Kindness Challenge

Try tiny acts of kindness to brighten someone’s day (including your own!). Pick a challenge below or create your own and see what happens. Share with our community some of your own kindness challenges to encourage others.

Share Your Stories

Kindness is even better when it's part of your own private story. Talk to a trusted adult, like a favorite teacher or a parent about your act of kindness. You can also write them in a private journal or draw a picture of what happened so you can look back on them.

Help them plan a kindness week

Work together to create a simple schedule of small acts, like sending a friendly text or helping a neighbor.

Celebrate small acts of kindness.

Notice and praise the little things, like when they listen well or share with a sibling. It will help build their confidence.

Model kindness at home

Let kids see you being kind to service workers, neighbors, and yourself, it’s the most powerful way they learn.
